No, not me.... Although I feel I've been away from painting way too long. Now back at it again after a fantastic business trip to the UK.
But a former coworker will be retiring. Although I cannot go to the retirement dinner, I decided to send a simple painting of an apple. We have apple trees in our backyard, and I would bring him an apple every day when they were ripe. He loved them and appreciated the fresh homegrown produce. So, a painting of an apple may very well bring back that memory!!
Rendition 1 in acrylic just wasn't what I was going for. So now have completed the final version.
This is more realistic and will be the gift!!
